Sofia the First: Story Theater App Reviews

My daughter loves Sofia, so when I saw this I couldnt resist getting it for her. Sofia reads the book (and its actually Sofias voice) and you can make puppets. Pretty cute! Well worth the $3.99!!

Anyone have an issue with the sound stop working on the app?

Definitely worth the money! Great story, and the best part is the make your own puppet show! You can control all the characters movements and record your own voice/s...very entertaining! Also easy to use for a 4 year old :) The only thing that would make it better is if you could email the finished puppet shows to family/friends, as there is only so many you can save on the app itself.

This is a great app... Had lots of fun with it, for less than one day and the sound is gone! Very disappointing for a 3 year old who wants to watch the shows she made...please fix!!

Just bought this app and there is no sound! Complete waste of money! 4 yr old is expecting to hear Sofia. But nothing!!

The story is charming, the message is nicer than most of the Disney princess stereotype... And I love the puppet theatre! So much fun to let the kids make and record their own stories, will be treasured someday (like tomorrow)!

Even though the sound option is selected, it doesnt actually play any sound, a real waste of money on this one...

Current version no longer records sound. Please fix!

This is a fun app where my daughter can create Sofia the First stories with the characters from the TV show. However, when we go to record the vocals for the story they do not record or something as there is no vocal playback when we play the story back. Appears to be some kind of glitch?

My 3.5 year old loves this app.

This app has a great animated story to read to her, but our favorite thing is the DIY puppet theatre. We spend a lot of time making little plays that can be recorded and saved to play back later. Makes for a lot of fun on a rainy day. Also weve had this app for almost 2 months and we still have fun with it, was worth every penny:)

This App has NO SOUND!

Went to the settings to turn on the music and sound, and it is just not happening. Does not have the same effect if it is silent. Maybe post something to let people know if there is something additional that we need to do. Not cool to charge for an app that does not work.

I thought it was my iPad but since reading other reviews, what the heck, either refund us or fix it. My daughter loves Sofia but I will not buy another app if this is how problems are handled and how you release an app...worthless without the sound

Total waste of money. One story and the puppet show is a pain to work

We love this app and were excited to see the Halloween update- but it doesnt work :(

My daughter loves this app, and weve been enjoying it since we purchased it a week ago. However, no matter how many ways we try, we cannot get the Halloween updates to work. She is quite disappointed and I am frustrated. Please fix this issue promptly. Thank you.

It would be great if the Halloween update actually worked-preferably before Halloween.

Cant get the update to work. It keeps telling me to check my network settings. I get the message on 4G & Wi-Fi ... strange. Otherwise, my girls love it!

Why put out an update to get kids excited and does. It even work! Do you not test before it is released? Try explaining to an upset child that she cant play!!!
